Nasal Polyps- A penduculated portion of oedematous mucosa of nose and paranasal sinuses.Polyppous=POLY POUS(MANY FOOTED).Nasal Polyp are non neoplastic mass of edematous nasal or sinus mucosa.An inflammatory reaction involvingthe mucous membrane of nose ,the paranasal sinus ,often lower airways.Presents with grape like appearance having a body and a stalk.

Causes of Nasal polyp-
- Chronic inflammation.
- Cystic Fibrosis
- Post Rhinosinusitis.

- Reduced sense of smell or no sense of smell at all.
