Ulcer in stomach are painful sores in the stomach lining which probably arise by peptic digestion of the gastric mucosa which is injured by local trauma or by toxins swallowed orally. The most common causes of injury include frequent ingestion of pain killers and steroids.

The most common symptom is a burning sensation or pain in the middle of abdomen between chest and belly button. Typically, the pain will be more intense when stomach is empty, and it can last for a few minutes to several hours.

NATRUM PHOS : Useful for stomach ulcer with canine hunger and all gone sensation.There is strong desire for testing things, eggs, fried fish and bear that relieves.Also there is aversion to bread.
ORNITHOGALUM UMBELLATE : Useful for stomach ulcer with increased pains while the food passes the pyloric outlet.There is frequent passage of offensive flatus.Useful for vomiting of coffee ground matter suggests hemorrhage.
PSORINUM : Indicated in sour, rancid belching which taste and smell like rotten eggs. Given when patient feel always hungry, must have something to eat at night.
PHOSPHORUS : Useful for stomach ulcer with pain in the stomach which is better by drinking cold water.Given when patient throws up food by mouthful and water is thrown up as soon as it gets warm in the stomach. Useful for acid dyspepsia with a bloated abdoment.There is faint feeling in the epigastria.
